LifePad® RH112 – Smart Assistant for Cardiac Arrest
Sudden cardiac arrest can happen anywhere – at home, at work, or in public. In such situations, the most important thing is not to delay and start resuscitation immediately. LifePad® RH112 is designed to help even those without medical training perform chest compressions safely and correctly until paramedics arrive.
This is an innovative assistance device developed in collaboration with Beurer GmbH and the Björn Steiger Foundation to increase first aid effectiveness in real-life situations.
Step-by-step guidance in critical moments
In emergency situations, people often panic and fear making mistakes. LifePad® helps maintain clarity and structure by providing simple, clear instructions directly on the surface. This allows you to quickly and accurately position your hands and begin chest compressions.
When the device is activated, an audio signal is triggered to help maintain the recommended rate of 100 compressions per minute.
Visual and audio feedback
Color LED indicators provide visual feedback on compression force, helping maintain optimal chest compression depth. This is especially important as incorrect compression depth can reduce resuscitation effectiveness.
The audio signal ensures a steady rhythm and can be turned off if needed when used with an automated external defibrillator (AED).
Compatible with defibrillator
LifePad® can be used together with an AED. The device can remain on the patient’s body even during shock delivery, following the defibrillator’s instructions. This allows for seamless transition from manual resuscitation to defibrillation and back.
Compact, flexible, and easy to store
Measuring 21 × 16 cm, LifePad® easily fits into a first aid kit, car, or workplace safety cabinet. The flexible material adapts to body shape, and clear markings help properly position hands.
